We are looking for ambitious and forward-thinking Assistant Managers to support our GM’s to ensure they make their pub stand out by putting their own stamp on the business, developing a strong team, engaging guests through events and social media but most of all focussing on the basics to ensure we deliver the best guest experience.


We have fantastic opportunities to work in some of the most amazing and diverse pubs in London, Hertfordshire and Essex, our pubs are an eclectic mix ranging from small local community pubs to large scale pub restaurants. Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager

  • Exceeding guest expectations daily
  • Leading the team to deliver outstanding service
  • Coach and guide new Team Members
  • All aspects of cash and stock control
  • Management duties including dealing with bookings/functions, rota planning, cellar management, and deputising in the Managers absence


Previous experience at Assistant Manager level is essential however further training will be given through the McMullen GROW Programme.
