The Stag are looking for hardworking, passionate and self-motivated individuals to play a key role in our restaurant expansions. Candidates must have a proven track record of working within high volume restaurants, exceptional customer service & attention to detail.


The Stag are looking for a self-motivated and skilful Head Chef with bags of enthusiasm and the experience to match. We specialise in all things chicken using the best British ingredients around. All candidates must have previous experience working in a very busy kitchen and love working in a fast paced buzzing site.

You will have lead control over all food that leaves the kitchen ensuring everything served is inline with the company and brand standards as well as responsibility for all aspects of food safety, HS and COSHH inclusive of all allergy information.

  • The Head Chef will plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that The Stag reputation for quality is delivered time and time again and in line with customers’ expectations
  • Possess an exceptional drive for quality and innovation
  • Take full responsibility of hiring, managing and training chefs and kitchen staff
  • 2 Weekly Rotas for all kitchen staff
  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Construct additional menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the offer
  • Approve every plate of food if in line with brand expectations before it reaches the customer
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
  • Report maintenance issues and arrange for repairs when necessary
  • Remedy any problems or defects
  • Oversee the work of junior chefs
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
  • Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
  • Driving sales through consistency delivered products and in house promotions
