An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager, responsible for the growth and success of one of our family friendly concepts.

Sales are a fairly even mix of wet and food, offering a traditional pub menu and healthy community wet trade. The pubs are located quite closely, around Hertfordshire and the South-East of England. Applicants must be a high calibre, enthusiastic and passionate individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You should have a great sales-driving record and be comfortable working as part of a team, as well as being able to dictate your own agenda and work autonomously.

In addition to these skills, you must be able to demonstrate success in the development of your people, have incredible operational standards, show great commercial acumen, and value guest experience second only to the wellbeing and development of your team. Your opinion matters and you will be consulted in relation to food development, marketing and site investment.

All applicants must be able to relate to the guest profile – (from young couples to the elderly), be trend aware, aspirational and able to do the usual, unusually well. You must live and work with values that match ours, “Continuous growth of our people and Macs by living our values; Growth – Professionalism – Achievement – Family – Respect – Pride”. You will ideally live within 25ish miles of Hertford and commute to our Hertford head office on Mondays.
