General Manager with Accommodation

McMullen’s recently purchased the Lock Taven in Camden Town. The Lock is a situated on Chalk Farm Road and is a stone’s throw from Camden Market and the iconic Round House. It trades on two floors, with a large rear beer garden and first floor bar leading to a roof top patio overlooking the market. The pub is renowned for live music, DJ’s and having a great atmosphere and trades till late over the weekend. Trade is an eclectic mix of Camdenite’s, tourists, aspiring musicians and Londoners looking for a great night out. There is a large range of international and locally sourced beers, along with beers brewed in our Hertford Brewery. Cocktails are super popular, and we have recently launched our Social Specialist menu, a simple menu focussed on amazing burgers. It truly is a unique pub in the McMullen’s estate.

Management Profile

The right candidate will preferably have experience of working in a high street environment and must have an obsessive passion for team development and guest service. The ability to lead and inspire a large team is fundamental for the success of the business. They will also need to be able to think creatively about driving sales and have a good understand of music and entertainment.
